Audi’s Q7 mid-size luxury SUV has received significant upgrades for the 2020 model-year. The changes and improvements can be found everywhere, from the exterior design to the interior amenities.

The new 2020 Audi Q7 features new laser LED headlights with a sharper design and a slick new grille that visually align the utility vehicle with recent Audi models like the Audi Q8 and new A7. The changes may not seem significant on paper, but it’s easy to recognize the redesigned Q7 from the previous model.

As before, the 2020 Q7 will be offered in both 5-seat and 7-seat configurations. The rear cargo area can hold 865 litres with all seats in place and over 2,000 litres with the rear seats folded. The biggest change to the interior is the new dual-screen MMI navigation and infotainment system. Both touchscreens are easy to navigate and intelligently organize the many features of the Q7 in a stylish and very upscale design. New technologies include available integrated Wi-Fi Hotspot.

Powering the new 2020 Audi Q7 is an available 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 engine that now incorporates a mild 48-volt hybrid system that can assist with various functions to lessen the load on the gas engine and reduce fuel consumption.

Power is rated at 335 horsepower with 369 pound-feet of torque at just 1,370 rpm. That’s 44 more pound-feet of torque than the outgoing supercharged V6. Reaching 100 km/m requires just 5.9 seconds and fuel economy is reduced by 0.7 litres. The 2020 Audi Q7 is also available with a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine.

Various driving modes including Off-road, All-road, Efficiency, Comfort, Auto, Dynamic, and Individual mean you can always tune your Q7 to behave to your liking. You can also adjust the driving modes to ensure better performance in any driving situation.

The 2020 Audi Q7 receives just enough changes to differentiate itself from last year’s model and match its competition in terms of features and performance. It also has the upper hand over many rivals when it comes to interior space and overall versatility.
