What's New for 2025?
The 2025 RS3 sports an even more aggressive look with a redesigned grille flanked by larger air intakes, a full-width front splitter, and new Matrix LED headlights with dynamic DRLs that offer four selectable graphics and animated lighting sequences. At the rear, revamped taillights and a sizeable rear diffuser with a red reflector complete the sporty exterior.
Inside, carbon-fiber backed seats, a new flat-bottom steering wheel, and updated tachometer graphics enhance the sporty ambiance. Audi has also refined the chassis control and driveline software for sharper handling and improved stability in performance driving. To top it off, three new paint colors-Ascari Blue, Progressive Red, and matte Daytona Gray-and fresh multispoke wheel designs are available.
2025 RS 3 Engine, Transmission, and Performance
The RS3's distinctive turbocharged 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine, rated for 401 horsepower, is a standout feature. Its unusual cylinder configuration delivers a captivating thrumming soundtrack that's sure to please. The engine pairs with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that downshifts aggressively with slight throttle inputs.
The RS3's standard all-wheel-drive system includes a torque-vectoring rear differential with a drift mode.
Compared to the A3 and S3, the RS3 boasts upgraded brakes, a stiffer suspension, and unique performance tires. On the racetrack, the RS3's exhilarating sounds and spirited nature were immediately apparent. However, it also proved composed and comfortable when cruising on regular roads.
So far, tests have shown the RS3's incredible performance. It accelerated from 0 to 60 mph in a blistering 3.3 seconds and completed the quarter-mile in just 11.8 seconds at 117 mph.
The 2025 Audi RS 3 Interior
The RS3's interior shares the same passenger space as the A3 and S3, but features more aggressively bolstered front seats for added support. The dashboard is anything but plain, with a pair of high-mounted air vents flanking the digital gauge cluster.Â
A head-up display is also available. Below the central touchscreen, climate controls with physical buttons and an integrated bin in the center console provide convenient access. The previous awkward console shifter has been replaced with a flatter design, while steering wheel paddles offer manual shifting options.
